Job summary

GLS zoekt een flexibele magazijnmedewerker in Utrecht voor een actieve rol in een snel tempo logistieke omgeving. Je verwerkt dagelijks duizenden pakketten met nadruk op veiligheid en kwaliteit.

Je werkt in een dagdienst van 10:00 tot 19:00 met mogelijkheden voor een vast contract. Ervaring is niet vereist en er is training in EPT-werking zodat je vrijwel direct kunt bijdragen aan een soepel logistiek proces.

Qualifications

• Minimaal 18 jaar en fysiek geschikt.
• Beschikbaarheid van minimaal 16 uur per week.
• VMBO-werk- en denkniveau is vereist.
• Goede beheersing van het Nederlands of Engels.
• Gemotiveerd en betrouwbaar.

Responsibilities

• Laden en lossen van vrachtwagens.
• Scannen en sorteren van pakketten.
• Rij- en stapelwerk veilig uitvoeren.
• Gebruik van handpallettrucks en EPT-apparatuur.
• Inspecteren op beschadigingen en onregelmatigheden.
• Het magazijn schoon en georganiseerd houden.
• Zeer nauwe samenwerking met collega's om de operatie te laten verlopen.

Your role as a warehouse worker at GLS in Utrecht includes being an active part of a dynamic team that ensures thousands of packages are processed safely and on time every day. You'll work in a fast-paced environment where physical activity is key, and quality and safety are always a priority. While experience in logistics is a plus, your motivation and work ethic are what matter most. Be prepared to work in a cool warehouse and contribute to a smooth and efficient logistics process.

What You Will Do:

• Loading and unloading trucks
• Scanning and sorting parcels
• Stacking and moving shipments safely
• Using hand pallet trucks and EPT equipment
• Checking shipments for damages or irregularities
• Keeping the warehouse clean and organized
• Working closely with colleagues to keep operations running smoothly
