GLS is een internationale verpakkingen- en expressdienstverlener met een depot in Utrecht. Als logistiek medewerker draag je bij aan een soepele en betrouwbare verwerking van duizenden pakketten per dag in een dynamische omgeving waar teamwork, precisie en veiligheid cruciaal zijn.

De functie is fysiek veeleisend in een magazijn met open dokken, met werktijden in ochtend-, dag- en nachtdiensten en vanaf minimaal 16 uur per week. Reiskostenvergoeding en opleiding zijn onderdelen van het pakket.

Qualifications

• Jij bent actief, neemt verantwoordelijkheid en werkt goed samen.
• Je spreekt Nederlands en/of Engels.
• Je bent fysiek in staat om actief logistiek werk uit te voeren.
• Beschikbaar minimaal 16 uur per week.
• Beschikbaar voor ochtend-, dag- of nachtdiensten.

Responsibilities

As a logistics medewerker at GLS in Utrecht, you will contribute to the smooth and reliable processing of thousands of packages every day. In this role, you'll work in a dynamic environment where teamwork, precision, and safety are key. Whether you're loading trucks, sorting parcels, or preparing shipments, your efforts ensure that packages reach their destinations on time. This is a physically active role in a warehouse setting, with open docks and heavy package handling.

• Loading and unloading: ensuring trucks are efficiently loaded and emptied.
• Sorting and scanning: organizing packages and checking them for accuracy and damage.
• Goods processing: moving and preparing shipments for transport using tools like hand pallet trucks.
• Maintaining safety: keeping your workspace clean and reporting any irregularities to your team leader.
• Staying active: performing physical tasks throughout your shift in a fast-paced environment.

Je bent bereid te werken in een koel logistiek depot.

Je werkt veilig, nauwkeurig en betrouwbaar.

Ervaring in de logistiek is mooi meegenomen, maar geen vereiste.

Job details

Minimum 2 days per week. You can work more if you want. Shift times are as follows:

• Morning shift: 04:00 – 10:00 / 04:00 – 12:00
• Afternoon shift: 10:00 – 19:00
• Night shift: 20:00 – 04:30 / 21:00 – 06:00 (limited spots available)

Work is physically demanding: lifting packages up to 25 kg. Packages heavier than 25 kg are always lifted together with a colleague.

You need your own transport, especially for the early shift; a bike or car is required.

Minimum age 18 years.

Locations: Utrecht, Drachten, Zwolle, Enschede.

Holiday allowance and shift allowances: Morning 20:00‑00:00 +8.75 %; 00:00‑05:00 +11.25 %.

Public transport is not available at the start of the morning shift or the end of the night shift.

Benodigdheden

Safety shoes and a helmet are mandatory.
