Job summary

GLS Utrecht zoekt een energieke magazijnmedewerker voor de nachtploeg om pakketten te verwerken en tijdig bij klanten te leveren. Je werkt in een hecht team en voert fysiek werk uit in een dynamische logistieke omgeving.

Werkuren zijn van 20:00 tot 04:30 of 21:00 tot 06:00, met een start vanaf 16 uur per week. Het salaris bedraagt €14,99 per uur, exclusief ploegen- en reisvergoedingen, met uitzicht op een vast contract.

Qualifications

• Voldoe aan de minimale leeftijd van 18 jaar en beschikbaarheid van minimaal 16 uur per week.
• Beheersing van Nederlands of Engels in basisvorm.
• Fysiek werk vereist en werktijden kunnen variëren.
• Teamspeler met aandacht voor veiligheid en nauwkeurigheid.
• Bereid om in een logistieke omgeving te werken.

Responsibilities

• Laden en lossen van vrachtwagens zodat het proces blijft verlopen.
• Parcel sorteren en scannen en controleren op nauwkeurigheid en schade.
• Goederen verwerken en pallets handmatig verplaatsen.
• Veiligheid behouden en afwijkingen melden bij teamleider.
• Actief blijven in een snelle, open-docks werkomgeving.

Join GLS Utrecht as a Warehouse Employee Night Shift and help process thousands of parcels every day. Together with your colleagues, you'll ensure packages reach customers across the Netherlands and Europe on time.

No two shifts are the same. You'll stay active, work as part of a close team and gain valuable experience in logistics.

What You Will Do:

• Loading and unloading: ensuring trucks are efficiently loaded and emptied to keep the process moving smoothly.
• Parcel sorting and scanning: organizing packages and checking them for accuracy and potential damage.
• Processing goods: preparing shipments for transport and moving them using tools like hand pallet trucks.
• Maintaining safety: keeping your workspace clean and reporting any irregularities to your team leader.
• Staying active: performing physical tasks in a fast-paced environment, even in cooler conditions due to open docks.
