Job summary

GLS Wijchen zoekt een Warehouse Employee die pakketten veilig en op tijd verwerkt. Je laadt en lost goederen, sorteert pakketten op route en bestemming en controleert op schade, terwijl je samenwerkt met een team.

Je werkt van maandag tot en met vrijdag in een avond- of nachtdienst: 17:00-02:00 of 23:00-08:00. GLS biedt reiskostenvergoeding, snelle werving, uitzicht op vast dienstverband en ontwikkelingskansen in een grote internationale logistieke omgeving.

Qualifications

• Eerdere logistieke of magazijnervaring is geen vereiste.
• Spreek basis Engels.
• Beschikbaar van maandag tot vrijdag.
• Kunt avond- en nachtdiensten werken.
• Heb eigen betrouwbaar vervoer naar Wijchen.
• Kun je veilig en nauwkeurig werken.
• Betrouwbaar en komt op tijd.
• Teamspeler met proactieve houding.

Responsibilities

• Lossen van inkomende vrachtwagens.
• Sorteer pakketten op route en bestemming.
• Laad uitgaande vrachtwagens veilig en efficiënt.
• Controleer pakketten op schade.
• Rapporteer beschadigde of verkeerde zendingen.
• Houd het magazijn schoon, georganiseerd en veilig.
• Help het team dagelijkse targets te halen.

Wat je gaat doen

As a Warehouse Employee at GLS Wijchen, you make sure parcels are processed safely and on time.

• unload incoming trucks;
• sort parcels by route and destination;
• load outgoing trucks safely and efficiently;
• check parcels for damage;
• report damaged or incorrect shipments;
• keep the warehouse clean, organised and safe;
• help your team achieve the daily targets.

This is an active and physically demanding warehouse job. During your shift, you will spend a lot of time walking, lifting, sorting and moving parcels.

You work from Monday to Friday in an evening or night shift:

• Evening shift: 17:00-02:00;
• Night shift: 23:00-08:00.

The GLS warehouse is located in Wijchen, near Nijmegen. Because public transport may not be available before or after your shift, you need your own reliable transport. You can travel to the location by car, bicycle or scooter.

Your gross hourly wage depends on the hours you work:

• 17:00-20:00: €14.99 per hour;
• 20:00-00:00: €16.30 per hour;
• 00:00-06:00: €16.68 per hour;
• Friday night: up to €22.49 per hour.

Functie-eisen

Previous logistics or warehouse experience is not required.You:

• speak basic English;
• are available from Monday to Friday;
• can work evening and night shifts;
• are physically fit and comfortable lifting and moving parcels;
• have your own reliable transport to Wijchen;
• can work safely and accurately;
• are reliable and arrive on time;
• enjoy working as part of a team.

Experience as a Warehouse Worker, Logistics Employee, Parcel Sorter or Order Picker is an advantage, but not required.

Your motivation and reliability are more important than your work experience.
