GLS in Utrecht is seeking a logistics medewerker to support daily package processing in a fast-paced warehouse. You will help load/unload trucks, sort and scan parcels, and prepare shipments while following safety procedures.

Wat je gaat doen

As a logistics medewerker at GLS in Utrecht, you will contribute to the smooth and reliable processing of thousands of packages every day. In this role you’ll work in a dynamic environment where teamwork, precision, and safety are key. Whether you’re loading trucks, sorting parcels, or preparing shipments, your efforts ensure that packages reach their destinations on time. This is a physically active role in a warehouse setting that is cool due to open docks and involves handling heavier packages regularly.

What You Will Do

• Loading and unloading: ensuring trucks are efficiently loaded and emptied.
• Sorting and scanning: organizing packages and checking them for accuracy and damage.
• Goods processing: moving and preparing shipments for transport using tools like hand pallet trucks.
• Maintaining safety: keeping your workspace clean and reporting any irregularities to your team leader.
• Staying active: performing physical tasks throughout your shift in a fast‑paced environment.

Functie‑eisen

• Je bent een actieve, verantwoorde en samenwerkend persoon.
• Je spreekt Nederlands en/of Engels.
• Je bent fysiek in staat om actief logistiek werk uit te voeren (max. 25 kg).
• Je bent minimaal 16 uur per week beschikbaar en kunt op één van de volgende diensten: ochtenddienst (04:00–10:00 of 04:00–12:00); dagdienst (10:00–19:00); nachtdienst (20:00–04:00 of 21:00–06:00).
• Je bent bereid te werken in een koel logistiek depot.
• Je werkt veilig, nauwkeurig en betrouwbaar.
• Ervaring in de logistiek is een pré, maar geen vereiste.

Shift times

Ochtenddienst: 04:00–10:00 or 04:00–12:00
Dagdienst: 10:00–19:00
Nachtdienst: 20:00–04:00 or 21:00–06:00
Minimum 2 days per week. Availability can be adjusted weekly.
