Job summary

Cainiao Group Netherlands is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to oversee daily operations at our Hellevoetsluis site. You will supervise receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping, while driving productivity and accuracy.

You will lead a team, monitor inventory, ensure safety and compliance with procedures, and coordinate with procurement, logistics, and customer service to fulfill orders on time.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain, or a related field is a plus.
• Minimum of half an year of warehouse or logistics experience.
• Proficiency in using WMS, ERP systems (e.g., SAP), and Microsoft Office (Excel).
• Strong knowledge of inventory control procedures and warehouse safety standards.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse activities including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping of goods.
• Lead, train, and motivate warehouse staff to meet performance and productivity targets.
• Monitor inventory levels and conduct regular cycle counts to ensure accuracy and minimize discrepancies.
• Enforce compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and OSHA standards.
• Coordinate with procurement, logistics, and customer service teams to ensure timely order fulfillment.
• Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, shipping errors, or operational bottlenecks.
• Utilize Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) or ERP software to track inventory and generate reports.
• Prepare and manage daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports (e.g., productivity, error rates, inventory levels).
• Ensure proper handling and storage of goods, especially temperature-sensitive or hazardous materials (if applicable).
• Recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve service levels.
