Job summary

YunExpress Netherlands, Gouda, is seeking an experienced Warehouse Operations Manager to oversee daily functions, ensure accurate inbound/outbound goods, and drive safety and efficiency.

You will lead a team, schedule tasks, monitor performance, and coordinate with quality-control and logistics teams to resolve returns, exceptions, and inventory issues. Fluency in English and Chinese is required, Dutch a plus. This on-site role focuses on process improvement and data-driven optimization.

Qualifications

• 3–10 years of warehouse management experience.
• Strong people management and communication skills.
• Good understanding of warehouse operations, inventory management, returns, and exception handling.
• Data-driven mindset with ability to prepare basic reports.
• Knowledge of Health & Safety requirements in warehouse environments.
• Fluent in English and Chinese; Dutch knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Team Management: Manage team scheduling, task allocation, training, and daily performance to ensure efficient and compliant operations.
• Returns & Exceptions: Manage returned, damaged, abnormal, and suspected quality-issue goods, coordinating with relevant teams for resolution.
• Health & Safety: Ensure compliance with company Health & Safety requirements and the safe use of warehouse equipment and facilities.
• Process Improvement: Identify operational bottlenecks and continuously improve warehouse processes, efficiency, and inventory accuracy.
• Data & Reporting: Maintain and analyze warehouse operational data and prepare regular reports to support performance monitoring, workforce planning, and operational improvements.

Requirements

• Experience: 3–10 years of warehouse management experience is required; experience in quality control or logistics is preferred.
• Team Management: Strong people management and communication skills, with the ability to effectively organize and lead a warehouse team.
• Operational Skills: Good understanding of warehouse operations, inventory management, returns, and exception handling.
• Data & Reporting: Good numerical and analytical skills, with the ability to maintain operational data and prepare basic reports.
• Problem Solving: Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving operational issues.
• Safety & Compliance: Good understanding of Health & Safety requirements and a strong commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
• Language requirements: Fluent in English and Chinese; fluency in Dutch is a big plus.
