Job summary

GLS zoekt een Warehouse Worker voor ons pand in Wijchen/Nijmegen. Je helpt bij het tijdig bezorgen van pakketten en werkt mee aan een veilige en efficiënte operatie.

Je voert opslag- en laadwerkzaamheden uit, sorteert op bestemming en controleert op schade. Een collegiale, actieve werkhouding is gewenst en gewenst is flexibiliteit in uren.

Qualifications

• Geen specifieke warehouse-ervaring vereist; gemotiveerd, betrouwbaar en bereid om te werken.
• Spreek basis Engels.
• Beschikbaar van maandag tot en met vrijdag.
• Kunt avonden en nachtdiensten werken.
• Fysiek in orde en bereid dozen te tillen en te verplaatsen.
• Hebt eigen vervoer naar Wijchen.
• Veilig en zorgvuldig werken en graag samenwerken.

Responsibilities

• Lossen van inkomende vrachtwagens.
• Sorteren van pakketten op route en bestemming.
• Laden van uitgaande vrachtwagens.
• Controleren op beschadigingen of onregelmatigheden.
• Werkplek schoon, georganiseerd en veilig houden.
• Samen met collega’s zorgen voor een vlotte goederenstroom.

Wat je gaat doen

As a Warehouse Worker at GLS Wijchen, you help make sure every parcel reaches the correct destination on time.

During your shift, you will:

• unload incoming trucks;
• sort parcels by route and destination;
• load outgoing trucks safely and efficiently;
• check parcels for damage or irregularities;
• keep your workplace clean, organised and safe;
• work with your colleagues to keep the parcel flow running smoothly.

This is an active logistics job. You will spend much of your shift walking, lifting, sorting and moving parcels. It is a good fit if you enjoy physical work and prefer being active to sitting behind a desk.

As a Warehouse Worker at GLS, you can count on:

• a gross hourly wage of €14.99 to €22.49, including applicable shift allowances;

Your gross hourly wage depends on the hours you work and the applicable shift allowance:

• 17:00-20:00: €14.99 per hour;
• 20:00-00:00: €16.30 per hour;
• 00:00-06:00: €16.68 per hour;
• Friday night: up to €22.49 per hour.

You do not need previous warehouse experience. We mainly ask that you are motivated, reliable and ready to work.

You:

• speak basic English;
• are available from Monday to Friday;
• can work evening and night shifts;
• are physically fit and comfortable lifting and moving parcels;
• have your own reliable transport to Wijchen;
• work safely and carefully;
• enjoy working as part of a team.

Experience as a warehouse employee, logistics employee, parcel sorter or order picker is an advantage, but not a requirement.
