Sompo Holdings, Inc. is seeking a VP, Head of Distribution – Belgium & Netherlands to lead broker and client relationships and drive profitable growth across Belgium & Netherlands.

The role reports to the Country Manager and collaborates with Line of Business Heads to deliver unified market strategies and distribution frameworks. Based in Rotterdam or Brussels, you will shape market strategy, develop broker distribution, and foster cross-functional partnerships while maintaining Sompo’s presence

Formación

• 15+ years of experience in senior management positions within Belgium & Netherlands (wider experience is a plus).
• Deep insurance industry knowledge with a strong track record of growth and profitability.
• Proven ability to lead from the front, empower others and drive strategic initiatives.
• Business-building mindset with success in growing insurance business organically or via acquisitions.

Responsabilidades

• Strategic development of broker and client relationships across Belgium & Netherlands to maximise profitable growth.
• Strengthen relationships with broker community and develop an ongoing pipeline of opportunities.
• Collaborate with senior management to identify new business opportunities and products.
• Create and drive the market strategy with underwriting leadership and Country Manager.
• Develop broker distribution strategy and support underwriters in the line of business.
