Qualifications

• No prior professional experience required; beginners welcome.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify specific actions in video content.
• Ability to describe only what is visibly observable without assumptions.
• Strong written English to produce clear, objective descriptions.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions, guidelines and quality standards.
• Commitment to achieving 95%+ accuracy.
• Ability to learn new annotation tools quickly.
• Reliable availability for 25–40 hours per week for long-term projects.
• Willingness to complete a ~3-hour onboarding and certification process.

Responsibilities

• Write objective, concise 1–2 sentence summaries of video sequences using simple and accurate English.
• Segment videos into clearly defined action-based sequences without gaps or overlaps.
• Label and describe only actions that are directly and visually verifiable in the video.
• Use simple present tense and consistent terminology in annotations.
• Review AI-generated captions and fix inaccuracies and ambiguities.
• Follow project-specific annotation guidelines to ensure consistency.
• Maintain high accuracy and productivity across annotation batches.
• Complete onboarding and five certification tasks, then begin paid production work.
• Incorporate feedback from quality reviews to improve accuracy and consistency.
