Job summary

ALTEN Netherlands is seeking a C++/Embedded Software Engineer for projects in the Eindhoven area. This V.I.E. opportunity focuses on joining our engineering team, with responsibilities spanning design, development and testing of robust software.

You’ll translate specifications into reliable code while addressing performance and maintainability, supported by a structured, international environment and growth opportunities within ALTEN.

Qualifications

The position

As part of our growth, we are looking for a C++ or Embedded Software Engineer to join our team and contribute to customer projects in the Eindhoven area.

Your main missions will be the following:

• Design, develop and maintain high-quality software applications in the C++ language.
• Translate technical specifications into robust and efficient code, taking into account performance, scalability, and maintainability.
• Identify and resolve technical issues and implement appropriate solutions.
• Guarantee the quality of software products through unit testing and code reviews.

Qualifications

• You have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science or engineering,
• You have a first successful experience in industry,
• You have a good knowledge of the C++ language, and at least 1 year of experience in the design, development and maintenance of software applications,
• You have strong analytical skills and know how to manage complex technical issues,
• You have excellent communication skills and are able to interact effectively at all levels of the organization and with customers,
• You have a positive mindset and a constant willingness to learn and grow.
