As part of our expanding team, we are looking for a talented C++ Software Engineer to join us and contribute to innovative, high-tech projects in complex software and embedded system environments. You will work on the development of robust, reliable, and maintainable software solutions while collaborating with multidisciplinary engineering teams.
As a C++ Software Engineer, your main tasks will include:
- Designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software applications using C++ and Python
- Reviewing, improving, and optimizing code quality, readability, and maintainability
- Applying object-oriented design principles and software design patterns
- Developing robust and reliable software using defensive coding techniques
- Configuring and integrating software in embedded and target hardware environments
- Collaborating with software, hardware, testing, and systems engineering teams to ensure seamless integration
- Contributing to software quality through code reviews, testing, and engineering best practices
- Working with modern development tools and CI/CD environments to support efficient software delivery
Your Profile
- Bachelor's or Master's degree (HBO/WO) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience with C++ development
- Experience with Python software development
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, design patterns, and software architecture principles
- Experience with defensive coding and developing maintainable software solutions
- Familiarity with version control, build management, and CI/CD tools such as Git, Maven, Nexus, and Jenkins
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate within multidisciplinary teams
- Proactive mindset with a passion for technology and continuous improvement
- Fluent in English (spoken and written)
