Job summary

Qabird is looking for a motivated UX Research & Design Intern in Den Haag, Netherlands. In this role, you will collaborate with the Product team to develop skills in research, UX/UI design, and solutions architecture. You'll enhance digital infrastructure for humanitarian causes while gaining hands-on experience in meaningful projects. Qualifications include strong organizational skills, fluency in English, and a passion for user experience. The position offers flexible hours and the chance to work in a friendly, supportive environment.

Responsibilities

• Work with our team to understand the needs on the ground in different vulnerable communities.
• Create, plan, and implement digital solutions that address pain points for people in need.

UX Research & Design Internship

We are looking for a motivated individual with a strong interest in user experience research and design to join our team and work on Commit Global’s initiatives across the world. Our mission is to build and sustain digital infrastructure that supports humanitarian and civil society efforts worldwide.

As an UX Research & Design Intern, you’ll work closely with our Product team under the guidance of the Director of Product, gaining the chance to develop your skills in research, field observation, user research, information architecture, user flows, diagramming, UI design and solutions architecture. You’ll collaborate with our team to transform ideas into compelling solutions that foster social impact. Your role will be working closely with the product team on enhancing our digital infrastructure and deploying it to CSOs globally.

Requirements

• Strong interest in research, design, user experience.
• Excellent written and spoken English. Any other language is a plus.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Proficiency in using online tools.
• Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Basic UX/UI design skills are a plus.
