Job summary

ING Nederland in Amsterdam leads the transformation of ING’s global hosting within data centres and edge facilities. You will steer enterprise-wide strategy, drive major convergence, automation and resilience initiatives, and foster ownership and engineering excellence across a global tribe of 173 engineers.

You will partner with technology, architecture and risk teams to deliver scalable, secure hosting platforms, sustaining business continuity and innovation at scale.

Responsibilities

• Shaping ING's global data centre strategy and resilient infrastructure foundation.
• Drive standardisation and convergence to reduce complexity and enable scalable hosting.
• Create reusable, automated data centre services to accelerate delivery and efficiency.
• Oversee portfolio priorities, investments, and regulatory compliance across the domain.
• Build strong partnerships across countries to align demand, capacity planning and priorities.
• Embed a product-led operating model for infrastructure services with clear outcomes.
• Develop engineering talent and organisational capability for long-term success.
