Job summary

CEVA Logistics in Heerlen is seeking a Transport Supervisor to coordinate operations at our Medical Campus. You will lead a small team, manage customer and carrier relationships, and ensure on-time, cost-efficient transport execution.

You will collaborate with customers, carriers, and internal teams to establish agreements, monitor KPIs, and drive continuous improvement. Working hours are 07:30–18:00 with ongoing coaching and development.

Qualifications

• HBO (higher professional education) level of working and thinking.
• Professional attitude towards customers in a B2B environment.
• Proficiency in English (spoken and written).
• Experience in a supervisory and coordinating role.
• Ability to perform effectively under pressure.
• Strong skills in Microsoft Office; advanced Excel skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining strong customer and carrier relationships through performance reporting and review calls.
• Acting as the main point of contact and escalation for carrier issues.
• Providing input for the monthly Business Review Meeting (MBR).
• Participating in transport optimization projects with customers.
• Organizing, coaching, and leading the team, including performance and appraisal reviews.
• Driving continuous improvement within the team and processes.
