Job summary

Major Dutch Bank is seeking a Test / QA Domain Expert to shape the Test Roadmap 2026. You will identify gaps in current test practices, propose pragmatic initiatives, and drive standard tooling and reporting across IT. The role blends hands-on testing with enterprise-wide influence.

Test / QA Domain Expert | Shape the Test Roadmap 2026 | Major Dutch Bank

A major Dutch financial institution is looking for a Test / QA Domain Expert to join its Center of Expertise Software Development. In this role you will help implement the Test Roadmap 2026 across the entire IT organisation, identifying gaps in current test practices and proposing pragmatic initiatives to complete the Test Pyramid to a level that matches the bank's risk appetite. You will work on standard tool selection, standard reporting formats, and driving automation and adherence across the organisation. It’s a rare opportunity to shape test strategy at enterprise level within one of the country's largest banks.

About the role

You’ll join the Center of Expertise Software Development as the go-to expert for test strategy, working closely with teams across the whole of IT to raise the maturity and consistency of testing practices. This is a role for someone who combines hands‑on testing expertise with the ability to influence and convince stakeholders at all levels.

You will:

• Strong coaching, feedback, and training skills
• Convincing and enterprise‑aware, comfortable influencing across a large organisation
• Fluent in English (Dutch not required)
