Job summary

MIMETAS is seeking a part-time Technician to support daily laboratory operations at its Leiden facilities. The role covers tissue culture, inventory control and logistics to keep our high‑tech labs running smoothly.

Your profile includes a degree in Biotechnology or Life Sciences, plus experience with lab facilities. English is essential; Dutch is a plus. Flexible hours and a competitive compensation package await in this international team.

Qualifications

• Degree in Biotechnology or Life Sciences, Laboratory Technology or a related field (MLO/HLO).
• Experience managing laboratory facilities.
• Enjoy communicating with colleagues and suppliers.
• Able to plan multiple tasks, set priorities, and manage time restraints.
• Experience with GLP and QC is an advantage.
• Experience with tissue culture is an advantage.
• Motivated, flexible and positive work attitude.
• Proficiency in the English language.
• Proficiency of the Dutch language is a plus.

MIMETAS is looking for a part-time Technician (basic cell culture, laboratory logistics and inventory) to support daily laboratory operations at for its facilities in Leiden, the Netherlands.

Your tasks will include

• Managing the maintenance of the tissue culture laboratory equipment;
• Maintaining the stock levels of the tissue culture laboratories;
• Responsible for clean laboratories and equipment;
• Managing the logistics of the tissue culture laboratories;
• Actively working on safety in the laboratories.

Your profile
