Job summary

Vivid Resourcing Ltd on behalf of a growing consumer brand is seeking a Technical Team Lead to take charge of the development team and drive it through its next phase. You’ll have a technology manager to align with, but you’ll own delivery quality and team performance.

Responsibilities include building a predictable delivery rhythm, coaching the team, acting as a technical sparring partner for medior and senior developers, setting standards for code review, testing, deployment and security, and

Qualifications

Substantial software development experience with leadership responsibilities.
Experience in back-end development and Python is preferred.
Strong people management and performance leadership skills.
Ability to challenge design decisions with independent judgement.

Responsibilities

Build a predictable, high-quality delivery rhythm and reduce delays.
Lead, coach and grow the team, including recruitment and performance management.
Act as a technical sparring partner for medior and senior developers.
Set standards for code review, testing, deployment and security.
Drive improvements in technical debt, uptime and AI-assisted development.
Translate the technology roadmap into a clear plan for people, skills and ways of working.
