Job summary

Vivid Resourcing Ltd in ’s-Hertogenbosch partners with a growing retail tech business to scale its engineering team, combining hands-on technical leadership with the structure to make key decisions.

You will lead 5 engineers, work closely with the Head of Technology, and drive architecture, sprint delivery and KPI reporting.

The role is hybrid (2 days from home) with a salary up to €90,000 and a real opportunity to shape technical direction as the company expands internationally.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on technical background with ability to stay close to the work.
• Proven Python programming experience.
• Track record of setting and delivering KPIs that improve team performance.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to lead people.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and grow a team of 5 engineers, fostering ownership and quality.
• Partner with Head of Technology on technical strategy and decisions.
• Define and report core technical KPIs (delivery velocity, reliability, code quality, deployment frequency).
• Own team execution: planning, prioritisation, sprint cadence, commitments.
