Job summary

TKH Security is hiring a Technical Specialist in Security Technology for nationwide coverage in the Netherlands. You will troubleshoot on-site and remotely, maintaining advanced security systems for critical infrastructure, healthcare, and government clients.

Responsibilities include ongoing maintenance, software updates, and customer advisory, with on-call rotation every 6–7 weeks. The role requires 2+ years of relevant experience and Dutch (English preferred) communication skills.

Qualifications

• MBO or HBO level education in IT or electrical engineering.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience.
• Proven experience with CCTV, access systems, or VMS (e.g. Milestone, Genetec, BauWatch).
• Strong analytical skills and a customer-focused mindset.
• Experience with IP cameras, IP networks, server management, API integrations, or OT infrastructure.
• Good communication skills in Dutch (and preferably also English).
• Driving license (category B).

• Resolving malfunctions (remote and on-site) in integrated security systems
• Performing preventive and corrective maintenance on hardware and software

• Documenting completed work clearly and accurately

Technical Specialist Security Technology – Nationwide (CCTV, Access Control & VMS)

As a Technical Specialist in Security Technology, you are the main point of contact for customers in complex technical matters. You ensure that our technology runs flawlessly, from troubleshooting on‑site to smart remote configurations. Our systems protect governments, hospitals, airports, and telecom companies. You play a key role in this.

What will you do?

You work with our advanced security and management systems, including:

• IPROTECT (access control, mobile access, key cabinet management)
• FLINQ (security management, video walls, incident handling)
• APOLLO (asset & site monitoring for critical infrastructure)

Your responsibilities:
