Job summary

InsTech Netherlands BV invites an experienced System Operation and Maintenance Engineer to lead on-site deployment, operation, and maintenance of airport network integration systems across Europe. You will troubleshoot complex faults, generate English reports, and manage maintenance data while contributing to product iterations.

The role requires strong network/system operation experience, GDPR/security audit knowledge, and readiness for international travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in computer science or related field
• 5+ years in network/system operation and maintenance or system integration
• Proficient with Huawei and Cisco switches/routers and independent fault diagnosis
• Familiar with firewall configurations and GDPR/airport security audits
• Experience with Windows Server deployment, VMware, MySQL/SQL Server
• On-site debugging, config changes, upgrades and spare parts support
• Ability to deploy software systems, analyze logs, check dependencies
• Support R&D on-site reproduction, patch verification and testing
• English as working language; European languages a plus
• Huawei/CCNP or above preferred; ITIL/PMP or security certs preferred
• Experience in software development (Python/Java/Shell/Go/C#) preferred

SYSTEM OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE ENGINEER DIRECT SUPERVISOR

We are looking for technically skilled candidate with good problem-solving ability for the position of SYSTEM OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE ENGINEER DIRECT SUPERVISOR.

[Job Responsibilities]

1. 1. The work location is mainly in Europe, responsible for on-site installation, daily operation and maintenance, technical support, troubleshooting and security compliance assurance of airport network integration systems in Europe.
2. 2. Responsible for sorting out typical fault cases in Europe, analyzing the causes, and outputting English technical reports.
3. 3. Responsible for the preparation and management of maintenance technical data, and put forward suggestions for improvement of product line iterations based on on-site experience.

[Qualifications]

1. 1. Bachelor degree or above in computer science or other related majors.
2. 2. Familiar with basic knowledge of computer networks, with more than 5 years of experience in network/system operation and maintenance or system integration.
3. 3. Proficient in mainstream switches and router configurations such as Huawei and Cisco (VLAN, STP, OSPF, BGP, ACL, NAT, etc.), and have independent troubleshooting capabilities for complex network faults (packet capture and log analysis).
4. 4. Familiar with mainstream firewall configurations (such as Cisco and Huawei), master security mechanisms such as access control, VPN, 802.1X, and log auditing, and be able to complete compliance configurations with GDPR or airport security audits.
5. 5. Possess Windows Server deployment and O&M capabilities, and be familiar with the deployment and troubleshooting of virtualization (VMware), database (MySQL/SQL Server) and common application systems (security inspection, monitoring, management platform) (interface timeout, certificate abnormality, storage server failure, etc.).
6. 6. Be able to undertake on-site debugging, configuration change, version upgrade, spare parts replacement support of network equipment, and handle application and network linkage problems.
7. 7. Have the ability to deploy software systems, and be able to analyze logs, configure environments, and check dependencies on application systems through training.
8. 8. Able to assist the R&D team in on-site problem reproduction, patch verification and version grayscale testing.
9. 9. English is required to be used as a working language (reading and writing technical documents, oral communication troubleshooting). Overseas work experience is preferred; Mastery of local European languages (e.g. German, French, etc.) is a plus.
10. 10. Huawei/Cisco certification (HCIP/CCNP or above) is preferred.
11. 11. ITIL, PMP or security certification (CCNA Security, CISSP, CISP, etc.) is preferred.
12. 12. Experience in software development (such as Python, Java, Shell, Go, C# and other languages) is preferred.
