Shock Media B.V. is seeking a Technical Security Engineer to defend our Linux hosting platform and protect customer data. You will work with the Security team on threat prevention, detection, and incident response, using XDR/SIEM tools and internal security tooling.
You’ll monitor networks, investigate incidents, and help develop security solutions while collaborating across teams. Hybrid work from Almelo or remote setups enables a flexible schedule in a young, informal environment.

As a Technical Security Engineer, you will become part of a young and growing team of security specialists within a challenging Managed Linux Hosting environment. Together with your colleagues, you safeguard networks, systems, and data using our XDR/SIEM solutions, while also contributing to the development of internal security tooling. When necessary, you conduct thorough investigations and act decisively during incidents. In addition, you quickly recognize trends and actively help further develop our security solutions. You will work in an environment where knowledge sharing, collaboration, and delivering the best results for inspiring (international) clients are key. Continuously optimizing and improving to become the best Managed Hoster in Europe is our shared ambition.
