Job summary

Shock Media B.V. is seeking a Linux Engineer to join our scalable IT infrastructure team in the Netherlands. You will manage hosting solutions, optimize servers, and contribute to innovative products while collaborating with a team of like-minded tech enthusiasts.

Qualifications

• 1 to 3 years of experience.

What will you be doing?

As one of our Linux specialists, you will work alongside 30 like-minded tech professionals using the latest technologies. Your responsibilities include:

• Setting up, maintaining, and optimizing hosting and server solutions;
• Contributing ideas to our products and services;
• Working with new and innovative technologies;
• Communicating with clients on complex and advanced technical questions.

What do we ask?

You are familiar with technologies such as Apache, NGINX, HAProxy, KVM, Zabbix, Wazuh, Docker, and Ansible. In addition, you recognize yourself in the following:

• You have a passion for Linux;
• You have knowledge of or at least a strong interest in the hosting industry;
• You have recent experience installing, configuring, and maintaining Linux servers and related software and technologies;
• 1 to 3 years of experience.

• A gross annual salary of € 45.000 to € 67.500, depending on your knowledge and experience;
