Job summary

Victron Energy in Almere, Netherlands, seeks a Technical Product Manager for Battery Chargers and DC Distribution to lead development and market launches of new energy storage solutions.

In an engineering-driven, fast-moving environment, this role combines deep technical product ownership with hands-on commercial execution, owning positioning, go-to-market content, launches, and cross-functional alignment across engineering, sales and marketing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of product management in energy storage, batteries, or power electronics and several years as an engineer.
• Strong knowledge of battery technologies, charging strategies, and energy management systems.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder communication skills.
• Willingness to work onsite and travel internationally as needed.
• Comfortable in a pragmatic, low-process environment where you take initiative, create structure, and drive execution.
• Ability and ambition to grow into broader portfolio and strategic responsibilities as the company scales.

Responsibilities

• Drive growth for Battery Charger and DC Distribution through strategy and positioning.
• Collaborate with engineering to move development from concept to launch.
• Own marketing content, including presentations, datasheets, and application notes.
• Define product positioning and translate features into customer value propositions.
• Lead product launches, including sales training and go-to-market prep.
• Assess market trends and customer needs to guide product enhancements.
• Act as a central connector between engineering, sales and marketing to drive execution.
• Manage product certifications and quality processes.
