Job summary

Summa College in Brainport region seeks a Technical Education Developer to design innovative learning trajectories and flexible routes, connecting education with practice and developing technical talent for the future.

You will translate ideas from teachers into usable materials, coordinate subprojects, and ensure delivery on time and to quality standards, with a strong focus on modularization and digitalization within secondary vocational education.

Qualifications

• A completed Bachelor's degree in a technical field or MBO-4 with demonstrable Bachelor's level work experience.
• Experience with educational development and designing learning pathways.
• Experience with modularization and digitalization in secondary vocational education is an advantage.
• A teaching qualification is a plus, not a requirement.

This is what you will do as a Technical Education Developer

As a Technical Education Developer at Summa Techniek, you work on the concrete development and realization of technical education. The vision and direction of development have been largely determined; together with the team, you ensure that these are translated into usable learning pathways, teaching materials, and educational products. You work on various subprojects and independently take on concrete assignments within them. You gather substantive input from teachers and subject specialists, process this into appropriate teaching materials, and coordinate with the colleagues involved along the way. In addition, you ensure that work is delivered in accordance with the agreement, schedule, and quality standards. An important part of the role is developing education in the areas of modularization and digitalization, among others. You work independently on your own tasks, but always in close collaboration with colleagues and subject matter experts. You actively request information, involve the right people, and communicate clearly about progress, bottlenecks, and results.

A salary in accordance with the MBO collective labour agreement, scale 11 (between €4.226 and €6.210 gross per month) based on full-time & knowledge and experience. A fixed-term contract with the intention of extension. Year-end bonus of 8,33%, 30 vacation days per year, participation in the ABP pension fund. This is what we expect from you

A completed Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or MBO-4 with demonstrable work experience at Bachelor's level. Broad technical knowledge and an affinity with electrical and mechanical installations are a plus. Experience with educational development and designing learning pathways. Experience with modularization and digitalization within secondary vocational education is an advantage. A teaching qualification is a plus, not a requirement.
