Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. in Eindhoven (G) is seeking a proactive Team Leader to manage a 2-shift operation. You will report to the Warehouse Manager and drive performance, safety, and continuous improvement within the department.

The role requires at least 3 years in a similar leadership position, strong English communication, and solid knowledge of WMS and Excel. Shift hours are 6am–3pm and 2pm–11pm, Monday to Friday.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in a leading/management role.
• Proficient in English (verbal and written).
• Good knowledge of office software and WMS, especially Excel.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the department team and coordinators.
• Coach and train associates and oversee performance and KPI achievement.
• Ensure safe, efficient and compliant operations per standards (ISO9001).
• Lead start-up activities with cross functional teams.
• Support HR processes: hiring, evaluations, promotions.

We’re looking for a proactive and results-driven Teamleader to join our team in Eindhoven 2 (G). In this role, you’ll work in a 2-shift system and report directly to the Warehouse Manager.

What You Do On a Typical Day

• Manage team performance; develop associates by providing training and coaching
• Manage coordinators and help them grow within their role
• Instruct, inform, and support the employees of the department, so that the work is carried out safely, efficiently, and correctly, in accordance with the applicable standards (including KPI’s and productivities)
• Lead start-up activities with cross functional teams
• Make recommendations regarding new hires, terminating contracts, performance evaluations and promotions
• Ensure that documents work instructions of processes are up to date and are being followed by the department
• Continually strive to improve the processes of your department

What Do You Need To Succeed At GXO

• At least three years of experience in a similar (leading) position
• Have good communication skills in English, verbal and written
• Have an enthusiastic and flexible attitude, and you have a self-starting ability
• A good knowledge of office software and WMS functionality, including Microsoft Excel
• Knowledge of ISO9001
• Knowledge of medical devices would be advantageous, but is not essential
• Able to work shifts from 6am – 3pm / 2pm – 11pm, Monday to Friday
