Job summary

GXO Logistics is recruiting for Team Leaders to join our new Amsterdam site. You’ll lead a team of 7-8 direct reports, shaping performance and culture from the ground up.

In this startup environment you’ll influence change, drive improvements and support the ramp-up with autonomy and strong leadership. You’ll have access to GXO University for personal and professional development and a clear path to grow with our expanding operation.

Qualifications

• Experience in a Team Leader or similar leadership role within logistics, warehousing or distribution.
• Fluency in English; Dutch is a plus but not required.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Willingness to work in a 2-shift pattern if needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a team of warehouse colleagues, fostering a positive, safe and high-performing culture.
• Drive performance through clear communication, coaching and a structured, process-focused approach.
• Own daily operations, ensuring work is delivered efficiently, safely and to high standards.
• Identify and implement opportunities for continuous improvement and handle startup-related challenges.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams and support hiring, performance management and development.

• Drive performance through clear communication, coaching anda structured and process-focused approach, while actively supporting hiring, performance management and employee development.
• Own daily operations, ensuring work is delivered efficiently, safely and to the highest standards, including leading start-up meetings and coordinating with cross-functional teams.
• Ensure work instructions and operational processes remain accurate, consistent and effective, and identify and implement opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Take ownership of team performance and operational excellence by addressing challenges proactively and driving actions that improve safety, quality, efficiency and overall results.

What you'll bring to GXO

• Previous experience in a Team Leader or similarleadershiprole within logistics, warehousing, manufacturing or distribution is preferred.
• A natural ability to motivate, engage and bring people with you.
• Fluency in English; Dutch is considered an advantage.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Flexibility to work in a 2-shift pattern, if needed.
