Job summary

DSV Air & Sea in Hapert is seeking a Team Lead Warehouse Airfreight to manage a small, experienced team in a specialist air‑freight environment. You will oversee daily planning, build and inspect ULDs, and coach operators to meet tight deadlines for high‑tech customers.

The role combines hands‑on leadership with process improvement, shift organization and a proactive mindset to maintain seamless operations in a fast‑paced warehouse setting.

Qualifications

• Experience in a leadership role within a warehouse environment.
• Strong spatial awareness and problem-solving skills.
• Hands-on mentality; able to work with the team under pressure.
• Good command of English; Dutch knowledge is a plus.

DSV Air & Sea in Hapert is looking for a Team Lead Warehouse Airfreight to manage a small, experienced team in a specialist air‑freight environment. You will oversee planning, build and check ULDs, coach terminal operators and continuously improve processes to meet tight deadlines for high‑tech customers.

Responsibilities

• Prepare daily planning, reviewing available freight, booked space, deadlines, staff and materials.
• Build and inspect ULDs, ensuring freight is safely and correctly placed on pallets.
• Manage, coach and motivate terminal operators during operations; adapt quickly to deviations or time pressure.
• Contribute ideas for smarter working methods, material usage and shift organization to improve efficiency.

Qualifications

• Experience in a leadership role within a warehouse environment.
• MBO education level and strong spatial awareness; enjoyment of solving logistics puzzles.
• A hands‑on mentality, willing to work alongside the team and maintain an overview under pressure.
• Good command of English (written and spoken); Dutch knowledge is a plus and flexibility to adjust to volume changes.
