Job summary

DSV is seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager for Tholen to lead a high‑performing 3PL logistics operation. You will oversee inbound, storage, outbound and value‑added services for one of our largest customers, ensuring smooth daily warehouse activities and meeting customer requirements.

You will coach teams, manage HR aspects, and drive continuous improvements while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance across the site.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience in a similar warehouse/3PL leadership role.
• Strong leadership with ability to inspire teams and drive excellence.
• Excellent command of English, both written and spoken.
• Experience with WMS, KPIs and operational reporting.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily warehouse operations for inbound, storage, outbound and value-added services.
• Prepare and present management information based on KPIs.
• Forecast workload with the resource planner and ensure adequate staffing.
• Drive process improvements in logistics and participate in optimisation projects.
• Coach and develop employees, lead team meetings, and handle HR-related matters.
• Ensure safe use of equipment and compliant handling of goods.

Warehouse Manager – DSV, Tholen

Position: Full‑time. We are looking for an experienced warehouse manager who enjoys leading a high‑performing 3PL logistics operation. In this role you will be responsible for managing the daily warehouse operations for one of our largest customers, including inbound, storage, outbound and value‑added services.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and presenting management information based on agreed targets and KPIs.
• Ensuring the uninterrupted flow of logistics operations—planning, inbound, quality control, storage, order picking, value‑added services, and outbound activities—while meeting all operational and customer requirements, identifying deviations, and facilitating constructive meetings.
• Forecasting workload based on the customer's daily, weekly and monthly demand and ensuring the operation is adequately staffed in close collaboration with the resource planner.
• Initiating and implementing improvements to physical and administrative logistics processes, providing input to the operations manager, and participating in optimisation projects.
• Coaching and developing employees, leading team meetings, and managing HR‑related matters such as performance reviews, absence management and employee development plans.
• Ensuring the safe use of machinery, equipment, warehouse vehicles and the proper handling of goods in line with safety regulations.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within a 3PL warehouse environment.
• A strong, resilient personality with the ability to adapt to change, inspire teams, and drive operational excellence.
• Good command of the English language, both written and spoken.
• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), management information, KPIs and operational reporting.

• Salary dependent on knowledge and experience, leading up to €4.900,00 gross per month (40 hours a week) plus 8 % holiday allowance and 5 % gratification.
