Job summary

Econowind B.V. in Zeewolde, Netherlands, is seeking a Proposal Engineer to translate our wind-assisted propulsion tech into customized client solutions and to act as the technical bridge between clients, the development team, and sales.

The role requires a Bachelor's or Master’s in Naval Architecture and engineering, at least 5 years of relevant experience, and fluent English and Dutch. It offers an impactful position within a growing sustainable technology scale-up and on-site collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Naval Architecture and engineering.
• Minimum 5 years relevant work experience.
• Fluent English and Dutch; proactive and team‑oriented.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize designs to reduce cost and improve VentoFoils.
• Coordinate with departments and external parties for design optimization.
• Select best VentoFoil and equipment based on client criteria.
• Draft general plan, specs, cost estimates, and delivery dates.
• Monitor project progress in pre-sales.
• Provide technical input to Sales during meetings and presentations.
• Transfer knowledge when a tender becomes an order.
