Job summary

OTC Flow, based in Amsterdam, is seeking a driven Sales Trader to expand its client portfolio in environmental commodities. You will prospect, build relationships, and convert opportunities into revenue, operating in a fast-paced, international trading environment.

You will own P&L targets, collaborate with senior colleagues, and represent a meritocratic, growth-oriented team in a 40-hour workweek with 25 days of annual leave and onboarding support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• 1–2+ years in B2B sales or client-facing roles.
• Strong negotiation, communication and relationship-building skills.
• Dutch native level and fluent English; other languages are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build and grow your own client portfolio through proactive prospecting, cold calling and networking.
• Communicate with clients via phone, online meetings, and in-person visits to understand their business needs.
• Identify and execute trading opportunities aligned with client objectives.
• Provide clients with daily market insights, pricing information, and updates.
• Monitor financial markets, industry news, and developments relevant to your product range.
• Maintain in-depth knowledge of traded products and new market procedures.
• Take ownership of your own revenue targets and contribute to team performance.
• Promote OTC Flow’s services to increase the company’s market share.
