Job summary

OTC Flow in Amsterdam is seeking ambitious Sales Traders to expand its client portfolio and deliver strategic trading solutions. You will prospect, build relationships, and identify opportunities aligned with sustainability objectives.

You will manage revenue targets, provide clients with market insights, and work with a global, fast-paced team to grow the company’s market presence in environmental commodities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Environmental Science, or related field.
• 1–2+ years of experience in B2B sales or client-facing roles, ideally within commodities, energy markets, or environmental sectors.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills with a focus on long-term partnerships.
• Native-level proficiency in Dutch and excellent command of English; other languages are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build and grow your own client portfolio through proactive prospecting, cold calling, and networking.
• Communicate with clients via phone, online meetings, and in-person visits to understand their business needs.
• Identify and execute trading opportunities aligned with client objectives.
• Provide clients with daily market insights, pricing information, and updates.
• Monitor financial markets, industry news, and developments relevant to your product range.
• Maintain in-depth knowledge of traded products and new market procedures.
• Take ownership of your own revenue (P&L) targets and contribute to team performance.
• Promote OTC Flow’s services to increase the company’s market share.
