OTC Flow, based in Amsterdam, is seeking a Carbon Sales Trader to build a robust client portfolio, execute trades, and drive revenue. You will spearhead a sales strategy, conduct proactive outreach via calls, emails, and meetings, and work with experienced traders to sharpen your skills.

The role emphasizes client engagement, daily market updates, and staying ahead of carbon market trends. It offers a full-time, 40-hour week with 25 vacation days and an international, vibrant team in Amsterdam.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or related field.
• 1–2+ years trading or brokering within the carbon market.
• Proactive in cold calling and prospecting to identify new clients.
• Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
• Native-level fluency in a language from the list plus excellent English skills.

Responsibilities

• Proactively grow and expand client base through direct outreach, including cold calling.
• Build a comprehensive lead list for disciplined outreach.
• Own personal revenue and profit targets.
• Execute trades with precision and efficiency.
• Engage with clients via phone, online platforms, and in person to address needs.
• Provide daily pricing updates and market insights.
• Stay up-to-date with market trends and financial developments.
