Job summary

ERM is seeking an ambitious Consultant to join the Corporate Sustainability and Climate Change (CSCC) team in Utrecht. You will support clients in financial and corporate sectors to manage opportunities and risks in the low carbon transition, develop knowledge assets, and contribute to climate-related studies and reporting.

Qualifications

• Relevant technical degree required.
• Experience in sustainability consulting / ESG strategy and roadmaps / climate change.
• Knowledge of GHG accounting and reporting principles (GHG Protocol, SBTi, EEIO).
• Ability to identify and justify methodologies for GHG inventories and target setting.
• Knowledge of climate change and low-carbon transition and related regulatory drivers.
• Experience managing small to mid-sized projects within larger programs.
• Efficient project planning and delivery of tasks.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Strong technical writing and ability to synthesize reports.
• Fluent in Dutch and English.

Responsibilities

• Review and analyze GHG data, perform calculations and evaluate performance.
• Define GHG targets based on science and best practices.
• Identify recommendations to improve sustainability performance for clients.
• Prepare client reports and presentations.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on climate-related projects.
