Voorraedt B.V. in the Netherlands seeks a customer-focused support specialist for Smart Event Manager (SEM). You will be the first point of contact for users, handle functional questions, and assist with configuring SEM.

You will work within the support team for Smart Event Manager (SEM) at Voorraedt. You will be the first point of contact for users of Smart Event Manager software. You will handle functional questions about operating the software directly yourself and assist users in configuring the software.
In addition to the functional helpdesk, you will also work on the technical side. Through our own training program, you will quickly master this. You investigate bug reports and clearly specify these for the developers.
In this versatile role, you will continuously be in contact with the users of our software due to the knowledge and experience you gain. Moreover, you determine your own development path.
It’s 8:30 AM; your workday has just started. You have decided to work from home today because it fits well in your schedule. As soon as you have your coffee, you start reading through your mailbox. Yesterday you helped a customer set up several new standard reservations in SEM, and you see they have just emailed some follow-up questions. You pick up the phone and call the customer to answer them immediately.
It’s 9:15 AM; time for the daily stand-up. Here we discuss what was done yesterday and what is planned for today. This keeps us well informed about each other despite working from home. The rest of the morning you spend working on an outstanding investigation related to an accounting integration. You coordinate with colleagues from support, the developers, and the customer to find a solution.
Time flies; it’s 12:15 PM and time for lunch.
In the afternoon, you have first-line phone duty starting at 1:00 PM. This means you are the first point of contact for customers calling with questions. The phone rings all day and you help our customers in the right direction. Questions today include functionality inquiries, bug reports, and how best to configure SEM. If you get stuck, an experienced support colleague is available to answer your questions or brainstorm possible solutions.
All customers are happy with your help and at 5:00 PM you close your laptop satisfied. Tomorrow is another day at the Lelystad office, which is always nice to share with colleagues!
As you gain more knowledge about Smart Event Manager software, you can grow into the role of application consultant. You may start giving training sessions, guiding implementations, or delivering presentations during user meetings. Additionally, you can become more involved in the further development of the software by coordinating and designing new functionalities.
