Job summary

Kadex B.V., part of the ASSA ABLOY Group, is seeking a Supply & Production Planner in Wijchen, Netherlands. You will ensure the smooth flow of materials, manage purchasing, inventory, production planning, and logistics to deliver high service levels.

The role requires collaboration with suppliers and internal teams, experience with ERP systems, and a proactive approach to process improvements. Hybrid working arrangement offered.

Qualifications

• Min 2 years experience in purchasing, inventory management, or material planning.
• Experience with ERP systems (Exact and/or SAP) and MS Office.
• Post-secondary education in engineering, business, supply chain, purchasing, or equivalent.
• Fluent Dutch and English, written and spoken.
• Analytical, communicative, proactive and collaborative.

Responsibilities

• Create and manage purchase orders, follow up on supplier confirmations, and ensure timely delivery of materials for production and warehouse operations.
• Plan in-house production, run MRP, and maintain accurate production and inventory data within the ERP system.
• Coordinate warehouse and logistics activities, including goods receipt registration, transport bookings, inventory counting, and stock management.
• Collaborate closely with suppliers and internal stakeholders to proactively manage supply chain risks, delivery performance, and product lifecycle changes.
• Support continuous improvement by maintaining high standards of organization, optimizing processes, and assisting with in-house assembly and testing activities when required.

What you would do as our Supply & Production Planner

As our Supply & Production Planner, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth flow of materials, products, and information across Kadex's supply chain. You will be responsible for operational purchasing, inventory management, production planning, and logistics coordination, ensuring a high service level towards customers while maintaining cost efficiency and accurate ERP data.

You would also:

• Create and manage purchase orders, follow up on supplier confirmations, and ensure timely delivery of materials for production and warehouse operations.
• Plan in-house production, run Material Requirements Planning (MRP), and maintain accurate production and inventory data within the ERP system.
• Coordinate warehouse and logistics activities, including goods receipt registration, transport bookings, inventory counting, and stock management.
• Collaborate closely with suppliers and internal stakeholders to proactively manage supply chain risks, delivery performance, and product lifecycle changes.
• Support continuous improvement by maintaining high standards of organization, optimizing processes, and assisting with in-house assembly and testing activities when required.

The skills and experience you need

We are looking for someone who:

• Has at least 2 years of experience in operational purchasing, inventory management, material planning, or a related supply chain function.
• Has experience working with ERP systems, preferably Exact and/or SAP, and is proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Has a post-secondary education in engineering, business administration, supply chain, purchasing, or equivalent relevant experience.
• Is fluent in both Dutch and English, written and spoken, and has experience working in an international environment with global suppliers.
• Demonstrates strong analytical, communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and proactively improve processes.

Nice to have:

• Experience or knowledge of sourcing and supplier management processes.
• Knowledge of mechanical and electronics manufacturing environments.
• Experience within organizations delivering electronic products or systems.
