Job summary

Yanmar Europe / Yanmar Marine International is seeking a Supply Chain Specialist to support forecasting, procurement, and inventory control across our regional network. You will align demand with production and sales, monitor supplier performance, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

The role requires a Bachelor's in a related field, 2+ years of supply chain experience, and fluency in English. The position is based in Almere with flexible options and an international team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain, logistics, business administration or equivalent practical experience.
• At least 2 years of experience in supply chain operations or demand planning.
• Experience with inventory optimisation and demand forecasting.
• Familiarity with ERP or MRP systems.
• Strong analytical skills with experience evaluating supply chain KPIs.
• Fluent in English; another European language is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Collect and consolidate forecasts for finished products and components.
• Align demand with production capabilities and sales requirements.
• Analyse forecast accuracy and report variances.
• Define purchasing priorities based on forecasts and internal needs.
• Process purchase requests and manage supplier performance.
• Monitor inventory levels and anticipate demand fluctuations.
• Track KPIs and support cross-functional improvement projects.
