Job summary

Ruby Hotels in Amsterdam is seeking a shift supervisor to lead guest service across bar, restaurant and front desk, ensuring smooth operations and memorable stays.

You bring hospitality experience, flexibility for shifts, reliability and a positive attitude, plus fluency in Dutch and English. You’ll train new team members and maintain high standards of service and hygiene.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar hospitality or lifestyle hotel role.
• Flexible and ready to work in shifts.
• Reliable, multitasking, and eager to learn.
• Bright, joyful, and good sense of humor.
• Experience with international guests and handling diverse needs.
• Fluent in Dutch and English.

Responsibilities

• Lead service shifts to ensure smooth operations behind the bar, in service, or at the front office.
• Maintain service, quality, and hygiene standards with attention to detail.
• Train, coach, and onboard new team members.
• Ensure effective internal communication and information flow.
• Address guest feedback promptly with efficient resolutions.
• Share insider tips for city hotspots with guests, helping them feel at home from first to last drink.
