Job summary

Ruby Hotels Rotterdam is seeking friendly, flexible hospitality professionals to join our front-of-house team. You’ll greet guests, assist with self-check-in, and help craft cocktails and breakfast service while maintaining a welcoming, home-like atmosphere.

Demonstrate strong guest service, multilingual communication (Dutch and English), and a passion for teamwork. Enjoy perks such as mobility allowance, Ruby F&B credit, staff rates, and ongoing training as you grow with us.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality or hotel front desk preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to work in shifts, including evenings and weekends.
• Strong guest-service mindset and positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Be the first point of contact for guests at the front desk and assist with self-check-in.
• Prepare cocktails and beverages, assist with bar duties and breakfast service.
• Support goods receiving, stock, and mise-en-place according to standards.
• Provide personalized recommendations and local tips to guests.
• Collaborate with team to ensure smooth, seamless service throughout shifts.

We are a fast-growing hospitality group with existing hotels and workspaces in some of Europe’s most exciting locations and many more projects under construction. We break new ground with our Lean Luxury philosophy , creating a contemporary and affordable form of luxury.

The role is set to start in September, just in time for the opening of our hotel in October. First interviews are planned for the middle of August, and those invited to our first audition will hear from us separately.

We’ve been waiting for you, since you have/are:

• ideally gained some experience in the hotel industry, don’t worry if you don’t know what “mise-en-place” means yet
• flexible and ready to work in shifts
• counting reliability, multitasking and your willingness to learn among your strengths
• empathetic with others and love sharing your enthusiasm with those around you
• a great sense of humour, enjoy working in a team, and love interacting with our guests
• speaking fluent Dutch and English
