Overview

Help our international customers with their questions about subscriptions.

Part‑time, minimum 16 hours per week, based in Groningen.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure German customers can start using their mobile subscription as quickly as possible.
• Check and verify customer details, select the appropriate subscription, and confirm compatibility with the provider’s system.
• Maintain accurate activation records so that orders placed before 23:59 are delivered the next day.
• Handle customer contact by email and phone (approximately one third of your time). Resolve inquiries on number portability, invoices, and general subscription questions.
• Escalate and resolve level 1 issues; progress to level 2 tasks such as number portability requests and invoice problems for higher compensation.
• Work closely with the Subscription Team – 7 days a week – to keep processing accurate and on time.

Qualifications

• Fluent in German and English; understanding of Dutch is an advantage but not required.
• Currently enrolled at bachelor or university level.
• Available to work a minimum of 16 hours per week, at least one evening per week and one weekend day every two weeks.
• Will be resident in Groningen for at least one year.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to quickly identify the core of a customer issue.
• Responsible and customer‑focused, with a willingness to engage in the family mindset of Belsimpel.
• Must have Dutch healthcare insurance.

Benefits & Compensation

Gross hourly wage between €10,24 (age 18) and €16,20 (age 21+), inclusive of holiday pay.

Potential to increase salary after six months via development and performance.

Working Hours & Scheduling

Open Monday to Saturday. Weekdays 09:00‑21:00, Saturday 09:00‑17:00. 4‑ or 8‑hour shifts that are self‑scheduled.

The Subscription Team operates 7 days a week from 09:00 to 23:30; shifts can be combined with studies.

Application Process

• Applications accepted until 5 July; late applications will be considered for the following month.
• Interviews between 15 June and 10 July, followed by internal discussion and feedback.
• Selected candidates will start on 17 July with an onboarding program; training mainly during Monday evenings.
