Job summary

Nearfield Instruments is seeking a Senior Technical Recruiter to join its HR/Recruitment team and own the end-to-end recruitment for highly specialized technical roles across the organization.

You will partner with hiring managers to translate business needs into effective hiring strategies and drive recruitment from demand through hire. You will recruit engineering and physics talent for the semiconductor metrology space, with one day per week in the Rotterdam office.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of recruitment experience, with substantial experience with complex technical profiles.
• Proven experience owning end-to-end recruitment from intake to hire.
• Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills with hiring managers.
• Business-driven mindset to align recruitment with organizational objectives.
• Strong sourcing capabilities, proactive approach to scarce talent.
• Experience in semiconductor/high-tech environments is a strong advantage.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end recruitment process for vacancies from intake to offer and hire.
• Act as a strategic sparring partner for hiring managers, advising on talent availability and strategy.
• Drive hiring momentum by removing bottlenecks and ensuring timely decisions.
• Translate workforce demand into actionable recruiting priorities and anticipate needs.
• Develop a deep understanding of Nearfield’s technology and business goals to recruit top talent.
• Develop and improve sourcing strategies, using direct sourcing and networks.
• Build and manage pipelines and long-term talent networks rather than vacancy-by-vacancy hiring.
• Develop and improve recruitment processes, tools, and ways of working to support growth.
• Use data and market insights to monitor progress and inform decisions.
• Manage recruitment agencies and suppliers, and evaluate added value.
