Job summary

SageBeans RPO in the Netherlands is seeking an experienced sourcing professional to coordinate complex procurement of consultancy and engineering services. You will develop strategies, manage tendering processes and advise stakeholders across multiple projects.

The role requires at least five years in sourcing or procurement, fluency in Dutch and English, strong negotiation and analytical skills, and a proactive, results‑oriented approach.

Qualifications

• HBO or WO education or equivalent working and thinking ability.
• 5+ years in sourcing, procurement, contracting or tender management.
• Experience with consultancy, engineering, construction or project organisations.
• Familiar with European public procurement procedures.
• Interest in technical services, engineering, construction or infrastructure.
• Stakeholder management across organisational levels.
• Experience in supplier management and commercial negotiations.
• Fluency in Dutch and English (spoken and written).
• Strong analytical and solution-oriented mindset.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and monitor sourcing strategies for consultancy and engineering services.
• Translate procurement needs into market engagement and tendering plans.
• Lead tendering and quotation processes for consultancy services across projects.
• Advise on contract structures, supplier selection and market developments.
• Negotiate terms with suppliers.
• Collaborate with project teams, asset management and external suppliers.
• Improve supplier management and build strategic supplier relationships.
• Track market developments and identify improvement opportunities.
• Support complex investment and maintenance projects with external expertise.
