SageBeans RPO in the Netherlands is seeking an experienced sourcing professional to coordinate complex procurement of consultancy and engineering services. You will develop strategies, manage tendering processes and advise stakeholders across multiple projects.

The role requires at least five years in sourcing or procurement, fluency in Dutch and English, strong negotiation and analytical skills, and a proactive, results‑oriented approach.

• Develop, implement and monitor sourcing and procurement strategies for consultancy and engineering services.
• Assess and prioritise procurement requirements and translate them into appropriate market engagement and tendering strategies.
• Independently manage tendering and quotation processes for consultancy services across construction, infrastructure, building services engineering, engineering and asset management.
• Advise internal stakeholders on contract structures, supplier selection, market developments and commercial considerations.
• Negotiate contractual and commercial terms with suppliers.
• Collaborate closely with project teams, asset management, engineering, contract management and external suppliers.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of supplier management and the development of sustainable relationships with strategic suppliers.
• Monitor developments in the consultancy and engineering markets and identify opportunities for improvement and innovation.
• Support complex investment, replacement and maintenance projects by ensuring the timely availability of the required external expertise.

Candidate Requirements

We are looking for an experienced sourcing or procurement professional who can independently manage complex procurement processes within a technical or project-driven environment.

• HBO or WO-level education or equivalent working and thinking ability.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in sourcing, procurement, contracting or tender management.
• Experience working with consultancy, engineering, construction, infrastructure or project-based organisations.
• Experience with European public procurement procedures and/or complex commercial procurement processes.
• An interest in technical services, engineering, construction or infrastructure.
• Demonstrable stakeholder management experience at multiple organisational levels.
• Experience in supplier management and commercial negotiations.
• Fluency in both Dutch and English, spoken and written.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate complex challenges into practical solutions.
