Job summary

Tony’s Chocolonely is hiring a Business Controller to join a fast-growing scale-up, reporting to the COO. You will own core controlling cycles from forecasting and budgeting to reporting, and lead the strategic direction of our operations cost base.

You will bring structure, implement governance, and ensure financial decisions keep pace with growth. In early months you’ll map cost drivers and deliver insights that sharpen performance across global supply and operations.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in business control, FP&A, or financial analysis.
• Strategic and analytical mindset; able to create structure in a dynamic environment.
• Experience in fast-paced, high-growth environments; scale-up experience is a strong plus.
• Strong Excel; experience with financial systems and reporting tools.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management in English.
• Academic degree in finance, economics or business.

Responsibilities

• Run a fit-for-purpose planning and control cycle for our supply chain spend, including reporting, budgeting, and long-term planning.
• Partnering with the COO and Head of Operations to share financial insights and ensure P&L owners are in control of their spend.
• Translate financial results into meaningful insights - crafting the story behind the numbers and spotting opportunities to improve performance.
• Build and evaluate business cases for operational improvements and investments.
• Support the broader Business Control team with flexibility and collaboration across the full planning & control cycle.
• Elevate financial awareness across teams by making finance accessible, actionable, and strategic.
