Job summary

Tony's Chocolonely is seeking a Regulatory & Compliance Legal Counsel to support our global legal and compliance agenda. You will develop frameworks, monitor regulatory changes, and ensure governance foundations stay strong as we grow.

This role blends legal expertise with project management and stakeholder engagement to translate complex requirements into practical, business-friendly actions. You will work closely with Legal, Sustainability, Operations and Commercial teams, advising on risks

Qualifications

Around 4-6 years of experience as a qualified Dutch lawyer or in-house counsel.
Strong experience in corporate law, regulatory compliance and governance matters.
Dutch law degree and currently living in the Netherlands.
Excellent drafting, communication and stakeholder management skills.
Fluent in Dutch and English, both written and spoken.
Strong project management skills with ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

Support development and maintenance of global compliance frameworks and GDPR documentation.
Monitor regulatory developments and translate them into practical guidance for the business.
Collaborate with Legal, Sustainability, Operations and Commercial teams and external advisors.
Provide risk assessments and practical guidance for regulatory initiatives and governance matters.
Deliver compliance training and help embed a culture of compliance across the business.
Support corporate governance activities and oversee data protection processes.
