Job summary

Metyis in Amsterdam seeks an experienced Programme and Portfolio Leader to drive large-scale transformation for multiple clients. You will lead complex programmes, assemble multidisciplinary teams, and shape delivery with governance and strategic roadmaps.

The role requires 8–12 years of delivery leadership across business transformation, technology, data and digital commerce, with a proven track record in executive communication, budgeting, risk management and client development.

Qualifications

• 8–12 years delivering complex transformations.
• Proven experience leading multidisciplinary delivery teams.
• Experience with governance, PMO, portfolio reporting.
• Ability to align delivery with strategic objectives.
• Strong commercial awareness and client engagement.
• Willingness to travel internationally.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex programmes and portfolios with multiple projects.
• Define delivery strategies, governance, roadmaps.
• Align priorities, roadmaps, tech initiatives and delivery plans.
• Balance scope, schedule, budget, risks, benefits.
• Provide executive reporting and KPI monitoring.
• Build relationships with executive sponsors.
• Lead steering committees and governance forums.
• Mentor and coach Project Managers.
• Drive delivery excellence and continuous improvement.
• Support business development through proposals.
