Brainboss Associates B.V. seeks an experienced project manager to lead IT portfolio management improvements for diverse clients, guiding initiatives from planning through delivery with focus on value delivery.

You will drive governance, optimize portfolios, coach teams, and collaborate with senior leadership to deliver tangible business outcomes. Fluent in English and Dutch, you’ll thrive in a fast‑paced environment and stay current with industry practices.

Qualifications

• 7+ years experience as a project manager.
• 7+ years in (IT) change management or transformation with portfolio management knowledge.
• Higher education degree (Bachelor's/Master's).
• Fluent in English and Dutch (C1).
• Agile methodologies knowledge/certifications (SAFe, PSMI).
• Hands-on, strong leadership and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Project management: oversee a portfolio of projects from planning to delivery and closure.
• Project planning & execution: create detailed plans, schedules, budgets with milestones.
• Risk & issue management: identify and mitigate risks to meet quality standards.
• Progress monitoring & reporting: track progress and adjust as needed.
• Stakeholder communication: facilitate meetings and provide portfolio updates.
• Portfolio optimization: work with senior leadership to prioritize initiatives and allocate resources.
• Continuous learning: stay updated with industry trends and best practices.
• Coaching: coach colleagues and improve team performance.
