Job summary

Maersk in The Hague is seeking a Head of Pricing & Contracting to lead the commercial engine of Revenue Management, translating pricing strategy and contracting standards into measurable business value.

You will shape the quality, consistency, and effectiveness of global commercial agreements, partner with senior leaders on high-value negotiations, and develop a team of Pricing & Contracting Managers and Analysts.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop Pricing & Contracting team across shipping line deals and renewals.
• Own pricing and contracting outcomes across the deal pipeline to optimize revenue and margin.
• Identify opportunities to improve portfolio profitability through pricing optimization and disciplined standards.
• Partner with sales, legal, revenue management, and terminal leaders on major negotiations.
• Ensure disciplined use of pricing standards, clause libraries, and contracting frameworks across agreements.
• Monitor portfolio performance against contracts and market conditions to capture revenue opportunities.
• Drive adoption of pricing platforms, standards, and analytics requirements across the organization.
