Job summary

SoftwareOne Deutschland GmbH is seeking a Pre-Sales Consultant in Amsterdam to partner with Sales and customers from discovery to proposal. You will position ITAM, FinOps, and software sourcing services to optimise spend and maximise value across IT assets and cloud.

In this hybrid role, you will run workshops, shape delivery approaches, and generate customer-ready SOWs and value cases, contributing to cross-sell opportunities and successful handovers to delivery teams.

Qualifications

• Deep understanding of ITAM principles including asset lifecycle, governance, and optimisation.
• Ability to apply ITAM/FinOps to cost optimisation and compliance.
• Experience with ITAM/SAM integrations with ITSM and CMDB.
• Ability to analyse inventory/usage data and produce clear reporting.

Responsibilities

• Run discovery and shape workshops to confirm objectives, constraints and timelines.
• Define scope, dependencies, risks, and delivery approach with delivery teams.
• Create customer-ready proposals, pricing inputs, SOWs, and value cases.
• Support sales meetings as SMEs in ITAM, FinOps, and software sourcing.
