Job summary

SoftwareOne is seeking a Pre-Sales Consultant in Amsterdam to partner with Sales and customers, shaping opportunities from discovery through to proposal. You will act as a subject-matter expert across ITAM, FinOps and software sourcing, supporting cross-sell opportunities and helping customers optimise software and cloud spend.

Qualifications

• Deep understanding of ITAM principles: asset lifecycle, inventory, governance, compliance, and optimisation outcomes.
• Ability to run discovery workshops and translate customer goals into deliverables.
• Strong stakeholder management in an international English-speaking environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead discovery and qualification to confirm objectives, constraints, stakeholders, and timelines.
• Define scope, assumptions, dependencies, risks, and delivery approach with Delivery teams.
• Produce customer-ready proposals, pricing inputs, SOWs, and supporting documentation with clear deliverables.”
• Maintain and improve reusable pre-sales assets and collateral.
